By registering for the Lions 5K Challenge, the participant declares and accepts the following:

1. Participation in the event is entirely at the participant’s own risk and peril. The participant declares to be in good health and in adequate physical condition to complete the distance of 5 kilometres by walking, Nordic walking or running.
2. The participant is aware that during the 5 kilometres there will be no supervision or control by the organizers and no medical assistance. He/she participates without any assistance or oversight from the organizers.
3. The event has no competitive character and no ranking or leaderboard based on time will be created.
4. The Lions Club Merano Maiense, all 54 Lions Clubs of the District, the District Foundation, Lions Club members, organizers, promoters, and sponsors assume no liability whatsoever for any personal injuries (accidents, health damages, or death) or material damages suffered by the participant or by third parties during or as a result of participation in the event. This also applies to damages caused by third parties or force majeure.
5. The participant expressly waives any claims for damages against the organizers and the parties mentioned above, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
6. Consent to the publication of data and images The participant expressly grants permission to the Lions Club Merano Maiense and the participating Lions Clubs to publish and disseminate on all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), the official website, and other communication platforms: name and surname, photos, videos, screenshots of the performance, finishing time and other participation data for promotional and documentary purposes of the www.lionsrun.it Challenge. This consent is given free of charge and is valid for an unlimited period, unless revoked in writing.
7. The participant acknowledges that the event is decentralized and that each participant organizes and completes their own 5 km route independently.
8. Any dispute arising from participation shall be governed exclusively by Italian law. The exclusive court of jurisdiction is the Court of Bolzano/Bozen.

By completing the registration and/or submitting proof of participation, the participant confirms that he/she has read, understood, and fully accepted this liability waiver and has granted consent for the processing and publication of his/her personal data and images as described above.
